The single-input monitor module is capable of resistively monitoring one or more voltage-free contacts in parallel. It monitors the contact's 4 possible states- standby, pre-alarm fault, and alarm. These 4 states are represented on the module's front panel by LEDs. It also includes 1 fully programmable voltage-free relay output that is capable of supporting up to 1A at 30VDC or AC. The module connects to the analog loop and draws power from it, communicating with the fire detection system digitally. It incorporates a short-circuit isolator inside, so that in the event of a short circuit on the line, it isolates the loop, protecting the integrity of the system.
