• Driver-Based Identification and Access Control: The driver-based vehicle identification solution consists of a building access card and the Smartcard Booster End2End, mounted inside the vehicle’s windshield. The booster works with the TRANSIT reader to authenticate both the card ID and booster ID, sending this combination to the access control system. Once authorized, the gate opens automatically.
• Versatile Access and Security: The access card can be removed from the booster for building entry, eliminating the need for new cards and seamlessly integrating into existing systems. This setup ensures security, as the booster only functions when the card is inside, preventing unauthorized use when removed.
• Compatibility and Features: The Smartcard Booster supports various HID technologies, including HID iClass, Elite keys, SEOS credentials, and NFC-based mobile IDs. It mounts easily onto windshields using suction pads, operates on dual frequencies (2.45 GHz for identification and 433 MHz for authentication), and has optional bi-directional communication for updating card content, such as access rights.
